Story of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Time Of Release: May 21, 2003.Total Volumes/Chapitres:12, 96. From the famous manga team of CLAMP, the quadtro decides to work their magic again and create a beautiful manga called Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. With this newly manga, CLAMP tried to put a spin on characters from previous published mangas they've once created and mix them together along with new and dynamic characters enterwined in a new world of dimensions and unexplored realms. Still don't get it? Well, let's start from the beginning! The main character is the one and and only Syaoran in which we all should remember from CCS they never tell you what is last name is though ^^;; oh well anyway Syaoran is an archeaologist basically carrying out his father's dreams of discovering ancient ruins before he died. Syaoran's father we can all recognize as Sakura's father Fujitaka from CCS. Anyway the story starts out with Syaoran returning from an excavation that apparently has lasted a while, when he is greeted by his childhood friend Princess Sakura (Sakura from CCS). Apparently Sakura is in love with Syaoran and has plans to tell him, but like any story there are always obstacles. One afternoon down in a newly excavated ruin Sakura comes to visit Syaoran when something unexpected happens. Reading it was sooo confusing O_o but I'll explain it the best I can. Sakura sprouts wings as the place begins shake and crumble and Sayoran tries desperately to get to her. Her wings disperse in feathers and fly away and Sakura falls unconcious. Syaoran latter finds out from the priest (Yukito from CCS) that the feathers are sakura's memories and without them she will die. To collect Sakura's memories Sayoran has to travel to other worlds and collect them so the priest sends him to the witch of dimensions. The witch dimensions agrees to grant his wish along with two others but in return he would have to give up something important to him. In return Syaoran gives up his relationship between Sakura him so that when she regains her memories she won't remember anything about him. So together with a wizard named Fye and a knight name Kurogane and an adorable rabbit like creature named Mokona Syaoran intends to travel to different worlds to find Sakura's memories and save her life!
