News & Updates lil' Cherry Blossom August 26, 2011 12:01 am: The End of an Era - That's all Folks! I'm assuming this is much over due, and as the years have gone by I'm certain many of fans who frequented this site have since gotten older, moved on to new things and hopefully new anime, but most of all probably got sick of waiting for a new update in vain (>.< lol). To those people I say, thanks for stopping by and sharing in the fandom of a show I really loved once upon a time, will always love, but have since moved on from. As you can see,, It's been almost five years since I last consciously kept up with this site as school and other things got in the way, and I simply never got back to this place, but I thought I want to make a formal exit. For anyone who happens to wander back to the site due to some crazy circumstance, to those of you who still have this place bookmarked for some reason, this is for you: Thanks for coming over the years, but as has been obvious for some time now, this golden era has now come to an end. There will be no more updates no more additions to the site, this place will remain as it is now. I'll probably come back to clean up the typos for the archive, but that's it folks, nothing more. Again thanks for being fans, I'll continue on in the different avenues of my life that lead me to new and exciting things and I wish you the same. Ayne of Tomoeda is holding a Digital design contest to commemorate its 5th anniversary. If you've got a passion for graphics designing please check it out! No, I don't have any other real updates today ^^;; but I since Thanksgiving vacation starts on tuesday for me that means no classes for most of next week, and no classes means potential updates ^^! What I'm planning is to add an "Actor's Studio" section to the Tsubasa Chronicle and Cardcaptor Sakura section as well as catch up on the TC episode guide summaries. Potentially I'm thinking of adding a XXXholic section to the site. To be honest, I haven't read the manga or seen the anime yet, but I've been wanting to pick it up soon, so afte I've seen a couple episodes I'll let you know if I'll add it or not. News & Updates lil' Cherry Blossom November 13, 2006 4:36 pm: The site is NOT Dead! Sorry about the weirdness over the past week with the site being up one minute and down the next, you see I've been having major problems with my server for a while now, and just now I got fed up with them and decided to move on to bigger and better things ^^. I actually bought new hosting back in September, but hadn't had time to do anything with it, so this weekend I transfered everything over. The bright side is I don't have to deal with my old host anymore, I get 3 times as much space, and twice as much transfer. The down side? We shall see ^^; don't think there is one yet. Anyway just wanted to let you all know that Angel Wings isn't going anywhere.Stephanie November 7, 2006 10:11 pm: Minor Adjustments Lately school hasn't been too too hectic for me homework wise (on the contrary the homework is with actual companys so double the stress there...), so I made some minor tweeks here and there to the site, mostly HTML errors and a new splash page.I imagine this takes a lot of baggage off of Lil' Cherry Blossoms shoulders with site management and I'm more then glad to help as much as possible, because I too use to own a TRC site, it didn't last very long but I remember when it was first released, it was an exiciting time to be a CCS fan. Also to an annouce I'm in the process of making a layout for AW for the next month, maybe a winter theme, maybe not, but I have so many ideas it almost hurts haha.. For graphic requests, I am open and availible to take any submissions, see my examples in the layouts section for examples of my works so far submitted to this site. I also do I-frames and Divs, I may do pop-ups, but hardly ever, so don't expect a great deal of pop-ups from me. That is all for updates for now ^_^. Stephanie November 6, 2006 8:40 am: New LAYOUT! In a rush so that's all for now!lil' Cherry Blossom November 5, 2006 7:45 p.m. Winner announcement, change is on the horizon! OMG an update! Yes your eyes do not decieve you I'm actually making an update. First of all I'm gonna apologize since it's been almost two months since I made an update. Every single time I have free time I feel like resting rather than working on something else i.e. the site ^^;. No worries though Steph, my graphic designer said that she'd help me out as much she could as co-webmistress which I really appreciate and cannot thank her enough for, thanks! As for the Buttonize me contest I know a lot of people are confused as to what happened with that so I'll explain now. Yes, I did make a decision on the winners, and I did send out participation awards and winners awards. If you got an email that said thanks for participating then you didn't win 1st place in any of the categories, but you might have gotten runner up (I can't remember whether or not the runner ups got participant awards or not sorry ^^;). And if you got a winner email that I sent you an award along with details. I know to of the winners got back to me on what they want as their prizes but one of them didn't hmm... not sure what to make of that, but if you don't respond before december I guess no awards for you ^^; but to be sure I guess I'll resend the winners emails. As for the results here they are:Sakura Button 1st Place: Scholastica  1st Runner up: Nozomi  2nd Runner up: Lily  Syaoran Button 1st Place: Precious  Runner up: Ryuu  Tomoyo Button 1st Place: Piyo  Runner up: Sutaru  The only category that had 2 runner ups was the Sakura one and that's only because I couldn't choose just one I had to recognize three because those three were the best ones and I just didn't feel right leaving one out. The Problem I face now is deciding who gets the grand prize. I've been mauling over this one for a while now and I still don't know, so if you guys wanna help me out just email me who you think should win. I'm thinking maybe I should ask some advice from some of my affies cause I really don't know right now. Anyway I plan to change the layout at the end of this month and switch servers too. I bought a new hosting with more space at infuxhost.com problem is I haven't had time to switch over. My hosting here expires in december so it'll be soon. The TC guide is sooo behind right now ^^; I somewhere around 8 episodes behind myself though I watched 39 last week so I should have that summary up soon. I finally was able to upload the new layout ^^ it's appropriately named nostalgia considering I'm going off to college and looking back on the last 13 years I spent in school I feeling nostalgic going off to college, you can read more about at my blog at shattered-reveries.net. Now for updates I finally watched episode 38 so you can check out the summary in the TC episode guide section. I also uploaded 45 images into a brand new Tsubasa Chronicles gallery. Thanks to Stephanie I now have a brand new free table layout in the free layout section. Her layout is exceptionally made so go check that out. I have brand new contest entry from a brand new affiliate please check out Luc's brand new CCS site Sakura's Secret Garden. Also since I'm going off to college soon I've realized I may not be able to keep up with the site as much as I'd like to so I'm in dire need of staff members now. So if you're not too busy PLEASE APPLY FOR STAFF I'd really, REALLY appreciate it. I haven't added the banners yet, but Michael from MCC is celebrating his 6th year anniversary and is having a contest to commemorate that, also Luc is having a poetry contest so while you're making an entry for my contest (which I hope you are ^^ ) consider preparing an entry for both of these contests! lil' Cherry Blossom August 12, 2006 4:23 a.m. 2 new contest entries, 2 new songs added, 2 new episode clips added, new layout comming soon!  I've had some time to cool off and I must say I feel loads better especially since it so happens our infamous "Mr. Anonymous" has opted to delete his site XD. Dear Mr. Anonymous your site won't be missed and the net will be that much more cleaner of filthy sites now that you are gone. Though his site is gone he will still go to the blacklist as soon as I get it up though I won't be able to leave a name or site I still have his comment to leave there. I'll give Holly Wang, Sugee's flammer, some credit here considering that although she insulted Sugee she at least had the guts to leave her name. Getting on with the updates I've added to more contest entries to the contest section. Through a fortunate find I was able to find two clips from the Australian version of Cardcaptors Episode 67 along with the opening and ending themes from the Australian version. These are now in the Episode clip and music sections. Sorry not episode guide updates today I STILL haven't watched episode 38 I've been busy with other things, but as soon as I watch it the summary will be up. I'd like to say thanks to all my loyal visitors and affies for supporting me through that whole flamming situation the site will stay open for as long as I can have it so thanks again guys! |
